Pinewood Derby

Tanner was really excited to race his car. The dads in the pack were seriously professionals. They had tools I had never seen before! They were making spoilers, indented hoods, corvettes you name it. Oke was like "Tanner I think we'd better get cracking on our design." So they went home sanded the paint off, re-designed the car re-painted it and added some custom spoilers and hood ornaments. I was laughing BUT very proud, and they were stoked for the big race day. Well Tanner didn't win but he had a great time and he was really proud of his car this year. Next year they'll do it all over again.

Young Women

These darling girls asked me to take their pictures for their upcoming Young Women recognition night.It was so fun being around them. I miss working in Y.W. soo much. AS I looked at them taking pictures at the Temple, I was reminded of my own daughter and how quickly she would be at this same point in her life. Will I do all I can to help her get there? Absolutely!! Without question! Here's to a bright future my sweet Lila.
